MY NEW FLATMATE
7 th February 2011
When I first met Sherlock, my new flatmate, he told me my life story. He knew so much about me from the way I walk, the way I look and even from my mobile. And that’s the thing with him. 2.1. He sees right through everyone in seconds.

But what’s incredible is how little he knows about things which do not interest him. 2.2. And last week I found out he did not know that the Earth goes round the Sun. Seriously! He’s such a brilliant detective but at the same time there are these blind spots which are really terrifying.

When I arranged to come over on Tuesday to see Sherlock’s flat, I had no idea of what was going to happen. When I was looking around the room I wanted to rent, suddenly a police officer came in. 2.3. Somebody had been murdered. Sherlock decided to investigate and asked me to join him. In the taxi, he explained how he had deduced everything about me the previous day. I could try to explain it here but I think it’s better if you go to his site, www.thescienceofdeduction.co.uk, and see for yourself how his mind works.
